Lucena G. Nicolas
Lucena is the founding force behind Pineapple Homes. She brings 33 years of experience in helping clients turn their real estate dreams into reality and finds it rewarding seeing the eyes of her clients light up as they open the door to their new home.
As a seasoned real estate broker, she sold over 77 properties in 2015 and was acknowledged in the June 2016 issue of Honolulu Business Magazine as one of the top realtors.
She attributes her success to her strong business sense, loyalty to clients, relevant years of experience as well as her energetic and easy-going style.
In her spare time, you can find her traveling and spend time with her family. She considers meeting new people and spending time with her loved ones the spice of life.
Karen Mickievic
Karen has been a realtor in the state of Hawaii for over 25 years on the islands of Maui, Kauai and the Big island. She grew up in Redondo Beach, California and went to UCLA. She then moved to New York and became a model with Eileen Ford’s agency. Karen later became an actress in Los Angeles. Living between New York and Los Angeles, Karen met her husband who is a photographer and together they ventured on buying and selling properties in California and New Mexico. Years later, Karen and her husband had a son and moved to Maui.
In 1998 Karen became a realtor in Maui. After 13 years in Maui, Karen then moved to Kauai for 3 years where she continued working as a realtor. She is now living off-grid in a 3-acre farm in Puna on the Big Island of Hawaii for the last 13 years where she still does real estate at home using solar power. Karen has accumulated a lot of experience, having bought, sold and lived in a variety of different types of properties in Hawaii. In her free time you can see her paddling canoe with team Puna at Hilo Bayfront or swimming in a tidal pond out of her home.
